Thanks BlueGenes. When I want to buy a scarf now, I try to look at them folded in the drawers at the store to see which colors catch my eye. Then I look at them unfolded. I used to focus too much on design, but now I like to consider color first and how they look folded.
Good point. I tend to see a pattern I fall for, but when I try it on - I relaize it's not for me. Yet the opposite has happened too. I did not like the Carre en Carres when I saw it in the A/W 2008 booklet. Now - it's one of my favourites to wear!
I am glad to hear that you like Carre en Carres. I must admit that I don't like it at all to look at, but after seeing it on so many stylish people here, I want to take another look at it the next time I am in the store.
Thank for all the encouragement lovely tpf ladiesAfter gaining too much weight while doing the mental pause thing (you know, menopause) I feel way over 51. I never in my life thought I would do the muffin top thing, but here it is in all its glory. Hermes scarves and lots of infastructure (you know, supportive underwear) help me to pretend I am still in my early 40's, before the evil event took place. I really enjoy looking at everyone's photos, so I feel it is only right that I share too, even if I don't like looking at photos of myself. Thanks to all who share so generously, you are my inspiration.
