Looks lovely Gemini!!! I like that whole look!

Didn't get around to wearing my new SS09 babies but wanted to post them for you. I've become addicted to these scarves..no more H bag money...everything is being spent on scarves, bracelets, and necklaces. Not good!

Anyhow, Please Check In in black and the Hermes Sellier Pocket Square in Grey and Orange Constrast Hem--this is lovely!!!!

Rileygirl, I love both those scarves too and am currently shaking the money tree to see if any cashola falls out! I notice that you have the pochette of the H sellier, did that design in the full carre not look as good as the pochette? its all so confusing...

Wantitneedit,

My two Boutiques didn't get the full size carre in...and I have a hard time with 90 cm...and they're 250 dollars more LOL (and my money tree is just about dead!) so when I saw the pochette size I snatched it up! I am trying to put together some sort of look to wear one of them tomorrow so I am hoping to be able to post something tomorrow.

PS--If you get cashola to fall out of your tree please give me tips because today I fell in love with Tohu Bohu shawl today and am trying to figure out how in the world I am going to swing it before it gets sweltering hot here making my look totally ridiculous wearing a cashmere shawl!!!

^rileygirl, i can relate to buying a pochette in a particular design as opposed to its bigger sister when it comes to deciding based on cash, but, surprisingly some designs look better in one size as opposed to another. That's the beauty of H i guess.

It is summer where i am, but most women i saw today were wearing scarves or shawls of some description... if its under 25 celcius and the sun ain't shining, you can wear your cashmere, for sure.....

Rileygirl, I started out with Twillys and moved on to the Pochettes (I snagged two of 'em, like INSTANTLY) but, my neck...she is not so elegant, so I can't tie them as prettily as some. Eventually, I moved on to the full sized carre--and the yummy 70 cm! Usually the Pochettes are tied to my bags. Occasionally, I'll put a pochette in my hair (especially when it is looking BAD!).

For the rest of my favorite scarfies (that's all of ya!). I updated my reveal thread (I was gifted a scarf by my DH that does NOT count as a Christmas present). It's got loads of new pics in it of the "Au fil Indienne" in the Black CW if anyone is interested in seeing more pics.

It was sprinkling today, so no scarf. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better scarf weather!

As always, our Christmas card features DS, this year I managed to drape my Ex-Libris GM around his neck.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year 2009!!!

MaiTai - that is a lovely photo! We can see where your son gets his good looks. The Ex Libris looks good this way, subtle and safe - out of the way of the wheels and handle bars! Great photography too!
Merry Christmas to you too!

guccigal that fluid scarf is beautiful! You wear that color so well.

And I'll just echo everyone else--MaiTai, your holiday card is marvelous. Thanks for sending it to us all.

For the past few days, I've been wearing Kimonos--like I said, it's my most-used scarf. I snapped a pick in order to show the other bias fold, which features light blues.

And today I'm wearing the scarf that started it all: Jardins d'Hiver in red. I saw it, I died, I went to Hermès heaven, where I'm staying put for a good long while.

You have a such a lovely neck for a scarf! Wonderful colours too!

What I'm wearing today...

Blue Marwari shawl
Vintage Chanel suspenders (One of my first chanel my mom EVER bought me! :yahoo: you can't really see it though)
white epsom CDC w/ ghw and Kelly watch w/ white dial.

Xiaoxiao! Look at you with your hair down! You look so out together and chid. That blue is a great colour on you. This is one of my favourite patterns.
