Dearest All, I was so touched by your comments re the xmas card that I sat down this morning and wrote a long and individual thank you post. Then the awful thing happened, I hit the wrong button and all was gone. Arrrrggghh. I've spent so much time with it that I can't face doing the same thing again, so this is for everyone.

Thank you all so very much for the warm Christmas, Holiday and New Years wishes. The positive and happy energy in this thread is so uplifting ~ love to you all.

Thank you also for your beautiful words for DS. I am going to wait a few years before telling him though, as for the moment he would die of embarrassment and as a result would probably go on strike the next year. Already this year I had a hard time to get him to cooperate and he was relieved that all he had to do was to ride a bike. The bad surprise came when I brought out the Ex-Libris, and he was groaning in disbelief "Oh no Mum, not an Hermès scarf!" Only bribes got him to wear it, and my God, he is a tough negotiater!

And last, as much as I loved your comments how he resembles me, I have to admit that he looks exactly like his Dad. I'd love to post a pic to prove it but I can't, as DH very much appreciates his privacy and who would dare to anger their DH a week before Christmas!

Rose, having had another busy pre xmas day, it was such a nice surprise to come home and see that new Playtime pics were available on your blog :nuts: I decided to give myself a treat, poured a nice drink before logging onto your blog and telling the family not to disturb. And what a treat it was, I feel so inspired and refreshed by your beautiful pics and never ceasing creativity. The Check-in ties really beautifully, at least under your magic touch. xiaoxiao--you look smashing in that shawl. The blue is a gorgeous color on you. Before this picture, I considered it an overwhelming color--but, of course, that was thinking of my coloring. You make it sultry! And your bracelet is to die for.

MaiTai--Yes, make sure to keep the DH happy through the New Year! You are a gorgeous family--and not just in looks. Your posts and pics display the warmth and happiness.

Rose and Vanmiracle--thanks! So, Rose, if I'm reading the posts correctly, you were able to grab (and not resist wearing) a Please Check In? Goodness, I can't wait for pictures to start popping up of that one. Normally, I'm preferential toward complex patterns with many colors, but I love the layers of shade in that design. It's so tempting.

Did I somehow miss Miss Piggy's and Linesse's pictures? You gals look so effortlessly chic!

Again, wore Fantaisie Pittoresque. I snapped a pic but haven't downloaded it. I'm not sure how good the picture would do, as the design seems most expressive when a lot of the design shows. I need to work on new knots to show it off properly.

Didn't get around to wearing my new SS09 babies but wanted to post them for you. I've become addicted to these scarves..no more H bag money...everything is being spent on scarves, bracelets, and necklaces. Not good!

Anyhow, Please Check In in black and the Hermes Sellier Pocket Square in Grey and Orange Constrast Hem--this is lovely!!!!

rileygirl - thanks! BTW, I LOVE the Please Check In design, was trying to give my DH the SA's card (dropping hints for a holiday gift) because she knows I want that one, but he just keeps giving it back to me. :push: Guess I'm just going to have to buy it for myself after the holidays!
