Thank you Allan and Jane!

Allan, I never thought about it like that but you are right, that will be my answer when my teen rolls her eyes at me.

Jane, you are too sweet.... I am not that young (no where near 'young', in fact) but more importantly, I do have a 16 year old and have to dress appropriately, lol!

My recommendation is for you not to pay any attention to your teenagers (eye rolling etc..) Have you noticed that they wear the most outrageous outfits and then turn into conservative Mennonites as soon as "Mom's" dresscode is concerned? Total set of double standards !!:smile1:. You must have been a child bride.

Rose, I thought your figure looked so great with the kimono sash (and this type of dress). I totally understand what you are saying though - I feel the same when I wear something which is 'out of the box'. I'd say keep the dress, because you look stunning - but only if you feel comfortable wearing it!

Mine youngest DD actually referred to my shoes as "prostitute shoes"!!!

Thank you MaiTai. I have to keep it since I have now worn it.... I do like it, I'll just perhaps try pumps the next time. The kimono sash (which came with the dress) has to stay, it looks like a granny frock without it!

Well, it happened.

So I have long admired the H scarves and shawls and such - though I can't tell one type from another. I can always recognize the lovely designs of H but I don't know even know what a pointu or a pouchette is! But as much as I have admired, I have never felt the need to own one. It's all about the leather for me! And I LOVE small accessories - have since childhood.

But it was so COLD and windy here today. And I was very surprised at how upset I was that none of my scarves are yummy H cashmere. I found myself in this thread several times today just drooling.

You people SUCK! :p

Hi all

I discovered a new way to "shoot myself"! LOL. I prop the camera on my steering wheel this am (nearly ran off the road)
