Allan: The mix of scarf and sweater prints is really cool! You remind me of Chuck from Gossip Girl a little bit... Or maybe I'm just obsessed with that show (I'm actually a VERY serious person in real life...).

On another note: DH gave me the most wonderful gift after the LSAT on Saturday, and it is from Hermes! I will post pictures in the near future, once I figure out how to use it...

Congratulations on finishing the LSAT! Are you applying this year?

And more importantly, what'd DH get you? :graucho:

Gorgeous photos everyone. You are all such inspirations. Today, me wearing my new plisse (ou l'aine voyageurse -- sorry on the spelling as it is difficult to read a plisse) that has many bright colours such as raspberry, orange, lime, teal, green, light purple.

liness, this is such a beautiful plisse!! so colorful and yummy! I'm still afraid to try a plisse b/c I'm so sure I'll ruin it, but it looks great on you!

Liness - I love all the colors in the plisse. And I love how versatile they are. I will hav to try wearing mine that way.

Dou.Dou. - That scarf is just the perfect pop of color.

Allanrvj - The "clash" of the arglyes and the India scarf is brilliant. As long as something is intentional, you can break any rules.

Good morning, my dear Hermès and Scarf friends. Thanks for all your kind comments, BlueGenes, mrb4bags, Rose, zacaza, MiaT, MaiTai, allanrvj, rileygirl

If anyone wants to see pics of my scarfs in the future pls feel free to PM your mail adress and I will give you access to my blog where you can see all scarf pics. I won't post pics in the forum anymore till the advertise horror ends. AND again - pls apologize for all my broken links. I couldn't help to delete them. And I am really worried what will happen to all my direct attachments under posts.

I learned two things these past few days:

1. First love never dies.

Here I am with my first scarf ever, Mors et Gourmettes and a blue hoodie in my favorite Chinese restaurant. Yes, it's blue--like brighton blue. Here's a less pretty picture of it in natural light.

Even if I have the Beloved India now, sometimes I still reach out for the blue scarf.

And yes, I still crave for Chinese food. You can take the gaysian out of Asia, but you can't take Asia... wait, that sucks. Nevermind.

2. Busy scarf is not good for a busy shirt.

I know it's a no-brainer but I was so insistent this morning to wear my Beloved India even if in the end, my look didn't impress me at all. I need something plain, like a GM losange. In gray .

Those are the lessons I learned.

Honey, with the way you rock your scarves, you don't need anything plain. Well, let me rephrase - Nothing you wear could ever LOOK plain.

Allan - I agree with the others, the 'clash' works great and the Mors is definitely a first love to be cherished forever. Great looks, all of them.

dou.dou - so stylish!! Love a mousse in winter.

liness, fab way to wear a Plissé - the contrast hem really pops. Must try that with mine :flowers:

liness92, the way you knotted your plisse is so cute. I like the color of it. Thanks for sharing.

Yes bags to die for, I just twisted the plisse around and around to get it to the "tightness" I wanted or could live with. Then I just played with the scarf to try to get the brighter colours to stand out.

Allan you really know how to work the scarves. Dou Dou, very stylish and A-T-G, perfect for shopping!

Thank you everyone for you lovely comments. I'm trying to get use to using plisses. I have three that aren't really used but I do prefer them as they look lovely tied. Most of the time I'm concerned that the knot will slip and I'll end up loosing them. I'm not the greatest fan of a double knot on these scarves but I suspect that I will have to get over it. The "necklace" makes me more comfortable.

Today I'm trying my Jardins D'Armenie plisse in pink with lime green, raspberry, blue and yellow. In the first shot the knot is how I personally like the plisse because it shows of the folds, colours and design of these scarves, and the second photo is how I'm wearing the scarf on this cold, dark winter day in the Great White North.

Liness--the Jardins d'Armenie is gorgeous! The colorway is just stunning, particularly in connection with your hair and the cool gray. The knot for the "dark winter days in the Great White North" is one of my favorite knots for wearing scarves (at least in the days before getting a scarf ring).

Allen--Beloved India looks fantastic with the sweater. I agree that the contrast works. Your pictures this past week has finally conveyed to me the beauty of this design. Thank you so much!

Dou.dou the pop of pink against the black is striking and I love the combination.

Liness92 lovely!

Van, I love your blog, your scarf combination today (Ex Libris and Vif) is delightful and the way you have combined the two, inspirational.

A-T-G gorgeous!

I am wearing my De Passage A Tokyo today in the black colorway, pic in the usual place.

Dou.dou - beautiful splash of colour and the mousseline looks so light that it could float on air.

Liness92 - the plissé necklace is great! What a wonderful look. I also like the two ways you tied the other one with the splash of volour agianst the grey.

Ricera - any hints on what your DH bought you? Congratulations on having hte LSAT behind you!

A-T-G - the Bolduc twilly looks so sharp agianst the dark colours
