In actuality you don't have to settle if you want MOP and fluted. It's not that unusual a combo, and dial type is really important to the look. Wait to get what you want, even if it means finding a different Rolex dealer. These things cost a lot of dough, so best to be thrilled with your purchase!

I’ve struggled to find a dealer at all in U.K. as this is my first Rolex. It’s been hard work!

I prefer the fluted bezel version. I have the fluted bezel in two tone rose gold/steel and love it. Gorgeous and classic Rolex!

Yes I’ve made the decision to go for the fluted bezel 😊

So update to my original post; my AD has this morning advised that he can now order me the MOP dial to the model with the fluted bezel!! This will now be my final choice and he advises a 3-4 month wait for this which I’m happy to do.
Thank you all for your opinions which have been so helpful in my getting to my final decision 😊

I’m in U.K. and finding what you want is like finding hens teeth!

It’s the same here in the USA; it took about 3 months for me to get once i put my name on a list with the AD

Liz131, would you be able to try other configurations that has the scattered diamonds bezel to have a feel of what its like? I have a scattered diamonds bezel but in white gold/steel with an aubergine dial. I original wanted a flute bezel but my SA called and said they have the aubergine but in scattered diamonds bezel. I was going to say no but hubby said it didn't hurt to go try it out. It's one of my favourites today . I also have the rose gold/steel with MOP and if I have to choose between the two? I would pick the scattered diamonds bezel. For me, its casual during the day and sparkly and dressy at night.

I’m not able to find a dealer with one to view with the scattered bezel. I’ve gone for the fluted bezel as looking at real life examples in this forum I feel this is more me 😊

They both look great on you, I think the YM looks a little more imposing on you but I think it comes down to which one would you have remorse returning...That's the one but you can't go wrong with either.

The datejust is so classy and dressy looking.
Whereas the Yachtmaster is for everyday wear. Not as classy looking and imposing. Your correct 👏

Yes finally I've gone for the Yachtmaster after changing my mind. Its the only design I love from Rolex. Big and Bold and easy to read.
