I personally prefer the diamond markers with SS but I mean, there is a reason why you left with the rose gold. Just keep the watch that you have and enjoy !

I originally went with the stainless with diamonds after debating wether to go with that or the 2 tone. A year later, after I kept thinking about the 2 tone I knew I made the wrong choice and traded it in for the 2 tone. I really think the 2 tone looks nicer and more classic and timeless. I also had to get the diamonds. I think the rose gold is the way to go personally, its classic but the rose gold makes it fresh and a little different. If you have the option, I would get the rose gold with diamonds...

I wish I could get the TT rose gold with diamonds! But I don't want to push it, lol. I think I'm going to stick with rose gold, but I'll let you know in a few days. Please keep the opinions coming though, it's helping me a lot...THANK YOU!

^^ Congratulations, it's a nice watch. Keep the two tone rose gold. You can always upgrade the dial. Two tone is definitely a classic and you can match it with your white gold or yellow gold jewellery.

Just imagine yourself wearing it many years down the road....you might get tired of the stainless steel.

I am so happy with my two tone yellow gold MOP with diamonds, which DH got for me 2 years ago :cloud9:

However, I regretted (and am still regretting) asking mom to sell off her all yellow gold 5 years back because she's not into watches but wanted me to have it instead. I was too immature to appreciate all gold back then and didn't like it. Now I hope I will own an all gold model...one day!

I think you should keep the rose gold then unless you are really in love with the diamond dial, but you can always add a diamond dial for the same price you would pay to for the diamond markers originally which is a really great option to have! A few years down the road you can have Rolex add a diamond dial if you decide thats what you want. I really like the rose gold, if rose gold looks better on you then all stainless, I think you will be happier with your choice in the long run.

2 tone with diamond is good if it is yellow gold instead of rose.
the difference of color looks fresh, but normally out of taste very fast as well.

ss with diamond would be my choice.

The 2 tone rose gold is gorgeous, more so with diamonds of course. If you think you like it with the diamonds better now, I think you should get it with diamonds. Pay a little more now with what you really love than paying $1000+ for the dial with diamonds down the road. The rose gold style just came out last year or late 2007, so that will be in style for many years to come.

I have the one with the diamonds, black dial. I was going back & forth between the rose & black dial & decided to go for the black. Got it & changed my mind half an hour later, went back to the store & the owner said since they had inputted the buyer info to be sent to Rolex headquarter already, I could not change it (it's a bunch of BS, I'm sure).

That's the difference between Hong Kong & US; at least in US, you have a few days to change your mind whereas in HK, there's no recourse once you walk out of the store. She said I could change the dial down the road but I'm not going to pay $1000+ just for the color of the dial. Maybe years down the road but it doesn't make sense to me now; still love love my watch regardless. You made the right choice by the way, stainless steel is too common regardless with diamonds.

I used to have a SS/Gold Ladies Rolex w/silver tapestry face for twenty years. I traded it in four years ago for a SS/White Gold Ladies Rolex w/white roman numeral face.
Now, I am thinking about trading that one in for either a SS/Gold Ladies Rolex w/silver diamond marker face or a Yellow Gold Ladies Rolex w/white face. I don't know if I should just keep what I have (SS w/white face) or trade it in for another. All the above have/had a jubilee bracelet.
What influenced your decision on the type of Rolex to buy...casual/dressy lifestyle, cost, other jewelry, style of clothing? Anything else?

I did the stainless first cause I thought it would look better with my e-ring and wedding band which are platinum. It is also mid-size. But then I wanted something dressier and would compliment my RG Cartier cuff so I bought the ladies 2-tone. You can't go wrong with any of the metals or faces - they are all beautiful!
