Which one of your LVs gets you the most compliments/appreciation?

I don't think I've ever been complimented on an LV bag by a stranger, but no matter what LV I wear there will always be a woman (usually a tween or younger woman) following me around the store trying to get a better look at the bag. I'm sure this must happen to others? They look hard and follow me, but don't ask I've only complimented one LV bag, the creme Clapton backpack I saw someone wearing.

Whenever i use my Hobo Beaubourg Mini, i always get compliment. Even after 2yrs of having it.

Although I have sold both, I got the most compliments from carrying the Suhali Le Talentueux and the Le Fabeleux. Regret to have sold the Talentueux. The wallet was the best too

What a fun question. It made me realize that the only bag a stranger has ever complimented me on since I started getting into LV three years ago is . . . a Coach outlet bag that I used to haul my kid's stuff around when he took swimming lessons. (There's no way I wanted to take one of my LV or my Coach 1941 bags to such a wet and chaotic environment, so the beater outlet bag it was.)

I have literally never had a compliment on any of my LV purses unless my sisters and my mom count. My bestie, who doesn't like LV and hates logos, did once say she liked my DA Artsy at least better than the other bags, which is not exactly a compliment.

Good thing we invest in our handbags for ourselves -- and not to seek the compliments of others.

I agree with this! I rarely, if ever, get compliments on my LV bags - or any bags. A couple of girlfriends who appreciate bags will comment on them but they don't count, IMO. Strangers... rarely if ever.

I used to get compliments on my Trevi PM but I haven't worn her in years. Nowadays my PM (Marine Rouge empreinte and Reverse Mono) get the compliments.

I'm glad I am not the only one -- even though, as noted, we're not all addicted to bags for the compliments.

What I do sometimes slightly feel weird about is that *I* like to compliment handbags -- because of course my eyes are always drawn there -- but I wonder if people like to talk about *their* handbags as much as I do. I once saw someone while waiting in line to mail a package with a Coach Brooklyn bag, a bag I absolutely adore, and of course had to tell her how beautiful her bag was but clearly she had less to say about her bag than I did, lol.

That happened to me when I went to the LV store with my reverse PM back in the days when it was impossible to get. My CA told me to hold on to the bag, otherwise someone might snatch it away .

I own a creme Clapton backpack, and I've actually complimented a woman with this backpack too!

Strangely enough, it’s my black empreinte bags.

You’d have to be encroaching in my personal bubble to even notice the embossing in the black leather.

I always thought they were more ‘under the radar’ then my canvas bags.

But indeed, when strangers have gotten close enough such as being in a line or I’m paying up at a cash register, someone will compliment about the black empreinte.
