My best friend’s sister complimented and touched my Montsouri PM in black and scratched the leather pretty deep with her nails that aren’t short but aren’t too long. I don’t know if it was an accident or not but it took lots of buffing with leather conditioner to get the scratch looking less noticeable, it’s in the opening, near the buckle so I can’t ignore it when I open and close the bag I had it for 2 days before it happened

This is my NIGHTMARE! I'm very gentle with my belongings and blemishes early on are a big pet peeve for me. Once I've worn things in a bit, I tend to unclench - but I still don't like it when the damage is caused by others and not me. I know I'm a bit anal retentive but I can't help it. Especially when it's something on the more expensive side.

My cerise Monogram Mini Lin Josephine GM. The last time I took it on a plane, the flight attendants complimented it and joked about my leaving it behind when I deplaned. And when I'm out and about with it, I do get asked about it. Probably because one doesn't see it so often. Now that it is spring, I look forward to pulling it out again.

I thought it was just me and where I live. My bags seem to be the elephant in the room. Apart from a co-worker/friend who knows that I've travelled abroad to just get a bag, no one seems to notice and I am starting to think that it's just a purposeful non-notice. Lucky you for having the neighbor that you do :smile:! I only share the joy (and hunt) with my husband but my bags make me happy regardless, too.

Cheers to our LV's! :drinks::yahoo::hbeat:

Luxury items are unapproachable. Like diamonds.

Sounds like a freak accident, I’d ask LV what they recommend you do.
