My Mono Speedy 30 has gotten several compliments from complete strangers in the past week...it's vachetta is turning a sweet golden patina. 
are you serious??!?! lol Most people don't even realize that it's a LV bag, and i'm not used to this cuz most of my bags are....loud.....lol. I remember taking my onatah Gm (also in aubergine) and I was sitting next to 4 ppl all directly across from me less than 1 m away and no one even bothered looking! lol wow..... but hey, it's a good thing that people notice your bag (even though the grabbing might be kinda....rude and offensive), shows their appreciation!
they might be admiring it just because its a good looking bag, not just because its an LV....

I received a few compliments on my Speedy, and a few compliments on my MC Rift - most days, no one in this weird town I live in majority of them really don't know LV. I think a lot of younger people know LV though, as I see lots of teens with fakes. But the people who complimented on my LV purses were always in starbucks 
I can't say my town is really small since we have 4 starbucks, with a 5th one coming, but when I see people with their LV, I tend not to say anything to them, as some of them look pre-occupied, or I don't want to talk with anyone in a bank line-up on a Friday and discuss LV.
That's where I have seen some LV purses. At my bank. But I have admired an Epi Jasmin in Mandarin, this woman came to my sister's garage sale. I told her I loved her purse. She really smiled! I seen a woman at the bank with a Mono Theda purse. And a co-worker has a Mono Trouville.

my onatah cuir GM.....i love it..but yesterday at wal-mart this very impolite lady ask me to move b/c i was kneeling down to look at some shampoos. SHE didn't even wait for me to move, she pushed her cart and HITTED my onatah!!! she didnt' even said sorry!!!!! OMG ARRRRG STUPID LADY!n! arrrggggggggg.........
