Which is the softest leather you've ever "felt"?

Love Longchamp. Very nice bags and I think underrated.

I see... I've checked their website and their models. I should take inspiration to them when I'll design the bag for my girlfriend!!
Even though, I must say, design-wise I like simple and minimal bags.. I've seen Celine and YSL designs are more in line with my tastes but... I'm a man LOL

I think it depends on your definition of "soft".

If you mean to the touch, I'd say Chanel's vintage lambskin is like a silk and Celine's supple calfskin used on the Phanton bag around 2012 is a leather that once you touch, you want to keep touching it because it's like butter!

On the soft, as in pliable and delicious to wear, that doesn't feel like a bag, but more like a soft and luxurious leather made for garments not a bag, you can't beat the Valentino Rockstud totes. I'm not sure what type of leather it is vs. the thicker leather one, but it's by far the most confortable bag I own. I feel like I'm not carrying anything.

Hope this helps! :)

Hello and welcome! My softest bag thus far is made out of the most amazing goatskin. It was custom made for me and I love it. Slouchy and wonderful. For me there is no comparison in the feel of this leather to any others that I've owned.
It's a thinner feeling leather but extremely durable and since it has natural lanolin it also repels water.

OK, now you have me eyeing her shop. I want one of her bags so much! What lovely work!

Also, the softest leather bag I own is a Botkier Logan tote. I believe they call the leather "Italian bubble leather," but I'm not sure on that.

The softest leather I have felt was on those (pictured) Loewe Flamenco drawstring bags. I went in the store on a whim, planning to check out the puzzle bags when my eye gravitated towards these. When I felt them, they FELT LIKE BUTTER. I have never ever felt anything like it.

I'm not a leather expert so I have no clue what type they were but they were amazing to touch.

I didn't even want to carry them for long. I was 100% sure that one wrong move with my long fingernails and I would ruin them.

I didn't buy because of how they felt they needed to be babied but yeah, these are the softest leather I have ever felt.

I'm attaching photos of celebs carrying that bag. It's truly a gorgeous bag. So supple and luxurious.. On my last trip to Taipei a few months ago, I told my good friend to buy it and she got a gorgeous purple one. (She was looking to buy a good, understated bag).

The old version has tassles for drawstrings; the current version (that I personally saw; and that my friend bought) has a knot drawstring.
