Which is the softest leather you've ever "felt"?

If you you know she likes Furla, that would the best place to start ;)

In my collection I would say my vintage lamb Chanels, grab bag and BVs are very, very soft but also very fine, whereas chevre (goat skin) on my latest BV hobo is soft, thick and undulating and then again my Hermes Swift feels like velvet.

Hello and welcome! My softest bag thus far is made out of the most amazing goatskin. It was custom made for me and I love it. Slouchy and wonderful. For me there is no comparison in the feel of this leather to any others that I've owned.
It's a thinner feeling leather but extremely durable and since it has natural lanolin it also repels water.

Who made this bag? Looks like a Givenchy Pandora, yes?

Yes, the artist who made it is Laurel Dasso leathers on etsy. She's amazing. I told her what I wanted and she made it to my specs. She put her own spin on the bag, it's not an exact dupe but it is completely gorgeous!

Oooohh! I adore it! I see she used your bag as the model on her page. I may need one of these!

The softest leathers IMO are lambskin and pigskin. I have a Lumi wallet that combines the two, and it's amazong how soft and silky leather can be!

I also have to say, kudos to you for taking on such an epic mission, be sure to keep us posted on your success!

Thanks Amazona! Sure will do! Yes it's epic but fun. I've read about pigskin and I was thinking of using it for linings!
