Which handbag have you gotten the most compliments on?

Either my patent LD, or oddly enough my toy loulou because of the metallic! Surprisingly, not lot of people comment on my Chanels, lol.

The most comments I ever received on a bag wasn't actually a "premier" designer, but among the higher end ones, my Gucci Horsebit medium hobo got huge compliments. I don't know if it counts as a compliment but when I got a color blocked Chloe Baylee, a woman in my office showed up with the Steve Madden knockoff a few weeks later.

I rarely get compliments on any luxury bags though, but I get a lot of compliments on no-name brand bags.

This has been very true for me too. By far I always got comments on my Coach bags but very few on designer bags.

That’s changed lately - this Chanel seems to be very appealing to people. I get at least one compliment every time I wear it, I think.

For me, it's this Michael Kors small Carmen satchel in the color Lavender mist that I bought in early 2020.


Yep, not my special edition LVs or Chanels. This one gets me compliments every time I wear it. Such a shame MK discontinued the style, it's so cute.

Hi there! Do you still have your small Paloma and if so, any regrets? I bought the medium (with the patent leopard sides like yours) and it was GORGEOUS but just too heavy AND bulky so I ended up selling it in 2017 or 2018. I never could forget how gorgeous that bag was. I just bought the small like yours without viewing the size in person (and not paying attention to the size years ago when I got my medium) and I'm not sure how small the interior is. Can you only get your bare essentials in? Can you get things in and out without a hassel?

I have a pearl and bronze beaded micro Lady D-Joy and I get the most compliments by far on that tiny bag. Even guys you wouldn’t expect to care about handbags will notice it. i have a few LE and SE luxury bags, many unique Chanel bags and crystal covered Lady Diors… but this tiny bag I bought on whim ALWAYS gets noticed.
