Which handbag have you gotten the most compliments on?

I think the bags I get the most compliments on are the Pradas and the Guccis and ironically not the LVs.
A beautiful story that really made me smile, my dear friend... The bag is gorgeous, btw...and I love how you have paired in the pics with the Magic Kelly, TohuBohu, Kelly en perles, etc. carres... Your taste and sense of humanity continue to touch and affect us.Great thread!
Funny enough that would be the bag I had a love/hate relationship with.
My Hermès Sanguine Birkin. It really took me a long time to get used to the chameleon color and to make it work, but at the same time it was also the bag that received most compliments, go figure.
Now, several years later, it definitely is a keeper for me, but mostly because of sentimental reasons.
When I just got it, I once wore it when visiting my dear late grandmother. Dear grandmother just had to try it on and walked into her garden with my Birkin, proudly wearing it on her arm. And oh my, she was so rocking that Birkin, it really looked fabulous on her.
Now that she has passed away several years ago, I sometimes think about that moment again and it just makes me smile.

Currently, it's my Hermès Lindy 26; probably because it's such a cheerful red!
This is my Spencer and Rutherford bag which gets me a lot of compliments from strangers on my way to and from work. It's a limited edition and there were only 300 made. I wasn't sure when I first saw it but my husband convinced me to buy it, he even bargained it down $20 for me. I know, bargaining doesn't happen very often in Australia! it looks a bit eccentric and 'old lady'-ish but it actually goes really well with most of my outfits. Every time I feel like getting a Celine bag, I just look at this one and tell myself 'Nah, this one looks better!'
