I'm going to a Holiday Party at my friend's house this Saturday. At her parties, usually people dress more on the casual side. I will wear a nice cardigan, with blouse and jeans. I'm debating on bringing either my mini rectangular in black lambskin or my medium classic flap in iridescent grey/green caviar. What do you guys think?

I always find the smaller purses much easier to carry at a party. I don't like to put them down anywhere because I am afraid of spills so I'd rather wear them the entire time. I love the WOC/mini in those situations.
Mini rectangular! Easier and less obvious since you mention people dress more casually. A medium flap at a house party does tend to stand out.
Another vote for your mini rectangular in black lambskin - elegant yet understated in a practical size that can be easily worn crossbody.
