I recommend using oils directly out of the shower and not a lotion if you have dry skin. I make a mix of sweet almond, jojoba, coconut, avocado, vitamin E oils and shea butter but you can make your own. You can also leave out the shea butter if you don't like the scent. There are tons of recipes on youtube. Don't fear it leaving your skin feeling greasy, it won't. If you do it fresh out the shower while your skin is still damp, your skin will absorb the oil and not feel greasy at all. I've found that the key to not having dry skin is getting that moisture in while your skin is still damp.

This works for me. I usually use jojoba, coconut, or another carrier oil & it works. Pure virgin Shea butter has been the best for my face. In the winter I make my own mix of Shea, vitamin E, & oils for dry dry hands. Cheaper than buying commercial & I know exactly what's being applied to my skin - no chemicals. My boyfriend even uses my mix & loves it!

I like Aveno 24/7 daily body lotion, and theirfirming body cream too. I started using this years ago after many years using Cetaphil and I've no had dry skin since...great for all seasons as it's no greasy or heavy and no scent, no residue on clothing. I love it.
