The whole beat up, cheapo 05 Olive City I bought just to get the boobie, and now of course I love the bag too, because why not, it’s a vintage and still has lovely leather.

That particular color is so delicious! The first Balenciaga I ever purchased was a white City, and this First in that condition was is the result of a long hunt.
I do my best to keep my bags away from sunlight, that helps a lot.
I didn't even know about Bals when I came here ( back in 2009 )I was actually here to see what everyone thought about the Chloe Marcie bag. Way back I had a Paddington which I loved but it was so heavy, before that a Fendi Spy and back all the way to Gucci when I graduated from college. Somehow, the Balenciagas just passed me by. Actually, we just got a Bal store in King of Prussia this past spring, so no wonder.So I was just flipping through pages and pages, and I saw her, the red Hamilton Balenciaga. CeeJay had posted a pic and I had to have and there was no better salesperson. She introduced me to salespeople and I found my newest obsession. At the time I knew nothing of the secondary market. that happened quickly. My second full price Bal in Dark Violet was next then I discovered pre-owned. It was that or sell a kidney!
