I had a purple (think 04 Eggplant) suede fringed cowgirl style short coat my mom bought me in college. The suede was so silky, buttery soft that no suede has been able to live up to it since. It ruined me for suede. It’s why I won’t buy a suede City. I know it wont be as silky soft and delicate as my cowgirl coat.
