Which bag should I get? Louis Vuitton or Prada?

I only have LVs but do like Prada's design and colors. The LV speedy is very functional than the Prada wallet/clutch/small purse. I recently purchased an LV Favorite in the MM size monogram (since LV does not make it in the Ebene pattern). It is very versatile-crossbody or shoulder bag or remove the leather strap to get a classy clutch. Or hide the chain to get a clutch that you hold. The only down side is no zipper. But if needed, the speedy is functional and roomy. See pic of the LV Favorite.
No doubt Louis Vilton is a good brand but parada also have great collection of purses or clutches that look very trendy and smart.
I love the Prada especially the fact that it can double as a wallet. It's for those days when you are to be out on short errands. Great as a party clutch too.
The Speedy is a great bag as well. It would always be there though and you can always purchase one.

If you're going to get a Speedy, get the Speedy B! (especially if you want it for shopping days!)
Get both!! I just purchased the prada wallet on chain yesterday and I'm loving it !! However, it can't carry much.. The Lv speedy will fit more stuff .! Get both, then you can take the chain out to use as a wallet and carry it inside ur speedy.. And on different days, u can also put the chain back on and carry it cross body , etc 
I totally think that you should get/keep both, but I voted for the Prada because it sounds like you had to go out of your way for it and I think that alone would make it feel a little more special.
Since the Speedy is so classic and timeless, it will always be around and you can buy it whenever you want later on.

I honestly think you should get a Louis Vuitton rather than a prada. In time, the value of the purse you purchased with louis vuitton will still have a value, whether or not it is a classic, unlike prada purses which depreciates or loses its value after a while.
