Which bag should I get? Louis Vuitton or Prada?

They are very different bags and don't really serve the same purpose, so I'd think about what you normally carry every day. I couldn't get by with a clutch, and a lot of guys carry even more stuff than women do. If you have an every day bag and want the Prada for going out, then it is very nice (I'm not a fan of the chain though, whenever I've had a bag with a chain it snagged my clothes).

I agree that you'd get more use out of the Speedy, but the clutch is gorgeous and not often seen, whereas the Speedy is more common to be seen.

I feel like they are two very different bags that serve different purposes. Without knowing what use you want to get out of the purchase, I'll have to go with the Prada but that's my personal preference!

I voted for the Speedy because you said you wanted an everyday bag. It's classic and versatile, so I'm sure you'll get lots of use from it. I'm not sure what you carry normally, but I don't know if the Prada will fit everything.

I'd generally go for Prada as I'm not really a LV fan but in that case my vote goes to the Speedy as it would be much more practical as an everyday bag in my opinion. And I like the damier azur way more than the other versions!

I'd go with the Speedy just because it's an everyday bag, while the Prada is more of an evening bag. Just my opinion

Thank you for responding. I love that it is roomy, has multiple pockets & is not the "go to bag for everyone" ex. Speedy & Neverfull.
I plan to get it next weekend.

Hmm, how do you look when you carry the Prada? I can imagine a guy with a Speedy (see them with the 40) but I can't imagine a chain wallet.

I'm a clutch during the day gal, so I definitely understand the lure towards the Prada piece - less is so much more! Plus, even though this does not detract from the reasons why so many are die-hard LV fans, the fact is it is everywhere.

Gosh, I don't know! Get what looks best on you and will be practical. Everytime you see it, it should make your heart skip a beat.

I vote for LV , in term of everyday use practicality.

But if you aim for a nite out/ elegant style, do go for Prada.

I have seen some fabulous dudes with speedy! Rock that bag. Also, I think the prada clutch is for clubbing and speedy is for everyday. Maybe you need both. Have you seen the LV monogram clutch??? You will love it and prada will have to step aside. Lol

I vote for the LV Speedy. I have the Speedy B 25 in Mono and really live it. I hope to get the Damier Azur sometime soon. I can see why you're torn between the two as the Prada is also lovely. Decisions, decisions....
