Which bag do I choose?

In April, I plan to purchase my next bag. I've narrowed it down to two bags within my price range. The bags are the Gucci GG Marmont small matelassé shoulder bag (black), or the Louis Vuitton Alma BB in Damier Ebene. For reference, I wear mostly black or grey and I own a Gucci Soho Disco in black. Which one would you choose and why?

(Also, I really didn't know where to post this, so please forgive me if this is in the wrong place.)

I'd pick the lv alma bb. You can technically wear it two different ways.

My LV have held up way better than Gucci bags. But I am pretty hard on my bags!

Alma bb no doubt. It is a classic LV bag and has been around for a while. I love alma bb best in epi leather but any kind is gorgeous really. You can also dress it up or down.
While gucci marmont is definitely trendier and i’m not a fan of the 'heart' shape on the back of the bag.

I'm a huge Gucci fan...but not of the Marmont. I'd go with the Alma. It's classic but still fun! And, I agree with @nanands, it's best in epi.

Lv Alma gets my vote! Considering you have a black disco, it would be nice to alternate with a non-black bag?
I love my Alma in epi and it’s one of the most durable and function bags, but anything in Damier Ebene is cute too!

As much as I love both, my heart just wants the Gucci. I think I am going to go for it first, and then get the Alma BB soon after. Thank you to everyone for your advice and opinions!
