Satchels with structure. This is a softer one, but still sits up straight. I love clutches also.

My heart is drawn to hobos and satchels. I love all shapes of handbags, but I can't get myself to deviate from buying satchels or hobos. I would love to add a flap bag in the future. The crossbody and tote shapes are my least favorite shapes to carry.

I'm drawn to the Chanel boy bag, for my first Chanel piece, I wanted the classic flap, but I saw an old medium Black caviar with ruthenium hw, that one came home with me! Two years later, I have three boy bags, one wallet on chain and one classic flap mini. I'm already planning for my next boy bag [emoji7]
Functionally - I want hands free so shoulder bags are my favorite. A satchel with a shoulder / crossbody strap comes second.
Style wise - I love flaps and have to have structure.
Size - Usually medium, sometimes small. Never ever mini or large.
Material - Quality leather. Rarely patent. Very rarely nubuck. Never ever vegan leather / fake leather, canvas. And I think (?) I'm done with exotics because they are too hard to maintain in pristine condition as I like my bags to be.
Color: All of them! lol! Love black, saturated brights and metallics the best. No pastels. No yellow. No browns or earth tones.

Over the years, I've always had a messenger bag, but never more than one at once. I go through phases with other bags. Currently it's clutches. I feel so put together and care-free carrying so little!
Always been drawn to small crossbody style bags... And if they can be handheld and come with a crossbody strap, I'm sold.
