Where's Your Bag in the car/when you're driving?

I don't drive and when I'm a passenger I always keep it on my lap - once all the way from Toronto to California and back (that wasn't even designer, I think it may even have been from Walmart) because I'm constantly in and out of it.

That trip was a lifelong dream of my husband and I when we were young, once we went we said it was a 'once in a lifetime experience' - because we'd never do it again!

When I'm alone, I put my bag on the passenger seat. Otherwise, it's on the back seat or on the handbrake, between the driver's seat and the passenger seat. Never on the floor, because my car is a mess!

In the passenger seat when I am driving and alone...

On the back seat when I have a passenger...and I always keep my doors locked when driving so no one can get in and take my precious cargo.

Mine's usually in my passenger seat but if I have someone in the car with me it goes in between the driver's seat & passenger seat on the cup holder area.

I found this forum when I was searching for ideas to keep my purse in the car where it won't get dirty and won't get in the way. I never put my purse on the floor or anywhere that might be dirty but whenever I get in the car I get so upset since there is no place to put it. I want to reach it easily and I don't want it to roll over especially when I use the ones that doesn't have zipper etc.

Mine is always on my lap if I'm the passenger, if I'm the driver.. Always on their lap! I would not put my purse on the floor.. I truly believe in superstitions and I don't want to be broke! Lol

(Superstition I'm referring to: if you put your purse on the floor, you're throwing away all your money. Hence, being broke all the time)

It's riding shotgun when I'm driving, on my lap when I'm the passenger and if someone else is in the passenger seat, it's on the backseat right behind me. Never on the floor!

I have a convertible, so I always put my vag on the floor behind my seat: I am afraid someone might snatch it when I stop at a red light.
So out of habit, when driving DH's car, my bag also sits on the floor
When he is driving I have my bag either in my lap or on the floor next to my feet.

Ditto. Actually, I refer to it as my purse seat. The passenger is the one who is the one that my purse is giving up her seat for, in this situation.

My purse is usually on the passenger seat or the floor on the passenger side. In the rare event that I have a passenger, it goes on the backseat or the floor behind my seat. If I'm riding with someone, then on the floor of the passenger seat under my feet. Some bags (like an LV Delightful MM) are just too cumbersome to hold in your lap. I need my hands free so I can wave at all the haters.

lol, that's what I was thinking. But I live in a dry climate, so putting my bags on the floor is no biggie.

If there's no passenger, my bag sits in the passenger seat. If I do have a passenger, they know that they have to hold me bag as I don't let them touch the floor.
