This is an awesome thread!!! Just the other day, I was thinking of starting a thread on the general forum, asking everyone to come up with a smart design in the center of the car for our "big" bags! Seriously!!!! We need women to design the future cars. There should be a well in the center of the driver's and passenger seat that is wide enough and deep enough to accomodate a large handbag! C'mon! It's the millenium. One less cup holder! :smile1:

I usually drive alone, so it just sits in my passenger seat. If I have someone with me, I either have them hold it, or I put it between myself and the door...just depends on who it is. My mom or fiance will hold my bag but I don't ask my friends to.

If I'm alone then in the passenger seat. If DS is at the back in his child seat and I've got a passenger next to me then it goes in the boot. Sometimes it even goes on the floor. I keep my car pretty clean so having my bag on the car floor isn't really an issue for me.

most of the times i put in on the passenger sit. if my children comes along, my daughter will usually hold my purse but if my son sit next to the passenger seat, he will never holds my purse.

On the passenger seat when Im alone. If my wife is with me then I put it on the back seat along with hers. If the kids are with us then my wifes bag goes on the center console(she typically carries large bags)and mine goes on the passenger floor board next to her seat (i carry a medium size messenger).

:smile1:Riding co-pilot LOL in the passagener seat across from me my windows are tinted very dark. However, if I'm driving my covertible only carry a wallet in the dash comparment.

Passenger seat and if there is a passenger there it is on the passengers lap...

If by any chance that is an issue in the back seat, but never on the car floor... it maybe super clean but it is still a floor...

I usually keep mine on the front seat when I'm alone. If DH and I are together alone without kids it usually ends up in the back seat. If his 8 year old son is back there, then it cannot be trusted to sit next to him so I ask DH to hold it (bad I know :), or it sits between us. It also depends on what purse I am carrying. If it's my LV or Coach he knows it needs to be taken care of, but if it's one of my cheaper purses it can just sit on the floor.
