The outlet called the mall in Leccio Regello is the best one has all of the designers. It is in the Tuscany region. Not very far from Florence. They have most designers and Prada and D&G are also close by.

Thanks for the information.
which part of italy had the most oulet gathering together so that i no need to wondering around? Or which part had the most outlet nearby each other.
Wish to go for a outlet shopping but do not know which part of italy to visit.
Mainly looking for bags.:yahoo:

Well the outlets are in the country. You will think that you are not in the right place but it is just in the middle of nothing. We did get a little lost. The exact address is 8 Via Europa in Leccio Regallo but I had to put firenze into map quest. I did a mapquest from vicenza where we are to Via Europa in Firenze. We followed those directions. I think I ended up taking the incisa exit since I remembered it was near the mall even though the mapquest did not say it. I just went in to some store and they told me the way which was not very far from this exit. A lot of people in this area speak english. I went the day before new years and they had lots of sales. I believe there are sales in July also.

Hello!
That' so exciting. I'll be going to Italy this year on my honeymoon. Do you , by any chance, know the exact location of the outlets? I've heard they are hard to find. And do you know when the sales happen?

Thanks so much :)):tender:

hi, i very afraid to get lost. if i landed in florance, do you think they had say those outlet tour from florance to bring us to all the outlet?
Then i will not worry about getting lost.
i intend to make a trip down to check out the outlet store.
was planning to set up a store to resell it in asia.
asia is super expensive.

Hi! I lived in Italy inthe 90's and back then the cost was much more reduced than in the US but my experience lately has been that by the time you do the Euro conversion, taxes, etc it is all about the same. The only advantage is that you get designs that are European release only....I now buy what I love when I see it because I have been dissapointed in not finding a design or the style out of stock and the savings minor or non-existant and I have stressed about the whole evolution. Hope that helps. Z-girl

I think its cheaper in the US because the dollar is so low. I have friends in London that say most designer goods cost 10 to 20 percent more there than here in the US. Also buying in Italy should be cheaper because of the outlets and the VAT

how about in asia? is it cheaper in malaysia or in singapore? my family is going there next month. some people say its cheaper in singapore, because you also get a tax rebate. but i'm not really that sure. any input? thanks so much!

Hi I hope it is ok that I am reviving this thread!

Singapore has a GST refund of 5%. I am not sure if that helps.

I would be very interested to know if HongKong being tax free and all that is the cheapest to buy Gucci in the Asian region?
