Where NOT to wear a LV handbag?

Traffic court trying to fight any type of ticket. Especially if you are trying to get the ticket thrown out or reduced.

I never thought about this! Great tip!

I saw in your responses that it was a typo, but when I first read 'noisy' I imagined a friend talking with such force and velocity that she was spewing saliva that would surely ruin the vachetta lol

That’s hilarious! Somewhere in this big wide world, I’m sure this has happened to someone lol

I just realized that there are some places where we would think twice before using our bags. Also, I noticed I have a LV “all terrain” bag, that I carry everywhere without worrying too much. Yes, I don’t use LV in concerts, nail salons, etc but there’s in my collection a bag that I pamper less than the other ones.

Does this happen to anyone else?

I don't take LV or anything visibly designer when:
- traveling, especially on public transit or in any area I'm not very familiar with.. I like to NOT get robbed. Or the bag damaged or dirty.
- going out late on the town if planning on walking around the city
- to PTA meetings or school activities if you go to those... people get jealous of anything slightly nice
- at the dentist, doctor, or anywhere I don't want to be upsold services or overcharged (cough, dentist... I'm looking at you). I wear old clothes/shoes, remove all jewelry, and take no decent bags to doctors/dentists.
- when volunteering... I remove all jewelry and dress down when volunteering at the homeless shelter etc.
- at the nail salon (or hair salon, if I went to hair salons)-- partly because stains can happen and partly because I don't want to be upsold to or overcharged
- if I know I'm going to be around friends/family that have had a hard time financially recently, such as those experiencing unemployment, or if they live in a rougher neighborhood
- anywhere I'm trying to get a good, fair deal and where other people don't take their personal best of designer items... so not yard sales, thrift stores, antique stores, etc.
- in the ghetto or an area where whatever I have might stand out or make me a target in any way.
- at the local park... don't want to make myself a target and the area is slightly rough.

I narrowed down my bags to only a few bags and relatively cheap bags at that. My only LV bag now is a basic old Speedy. My current city is fairly modest on clothes/bags... LV is about the "nicest" most people have here. I've seen maybe 30 LV bags on people here, 1 Goyard, 1 Celine, a few Guccis, and nothing else I would personally recognize as pricey. I see a lot of outlet mall Kate Space and a lot of Michael Kors.

I try to blend in reasonably to whenever I'm living at the time. Even an LV Speedy here in some neighborhoods stand out while others it blends ok. I moved to a decent suburb last year but before that lived in the hood or hood adjacent. Over there I removed all jewelry to even take out the trash and didn't carry anything more than a cheap outlet mall Michael Kors. In my current neighborhood, LV is common enough to see a few in Target when you're shopping there but not so common I don't use a lot of caution when out late alone shopping or at a movie. I throw a sweater on the Speedy and put it on the floor of my crappy old beater car even in a decent suburb. I don't want to attract unwanted attention in a modest area. If I lived somewhere like Beverly Hills, I wouldn't think twice about carrying LV to work, school, shopping, commuting, etc., but my city is relatively modest and I try to blend in whenever I am. Unless I'm somewhere expensive and can't afford to blend in with that lol.

I have recently decided not to carry certain LV bags while traveling. No Neverfull for things to fall out of and no MONO to scream look at me I am carrying LV and I am tourist. For a small bag, I replaced my LV with a black Prada Nylon. Which I hope blends in and is unnoticeable. And for a larger tote (it's large for me) I just got an Azur 35. I can zip it shut and I am hoping people just think it's a Michael Kors bag. :P
True. LV is too loud for airports. Decades ago I could do the whole package. Now I'm afraid to even use my LV for handbag. It attracts too much customs attention.
