OK my Purse Loving friends....my mini FREAK OUT is over.....my Hubby is traveling but I just got intouch w/him and he states that there is no doubt; he bought the pictured bag at one of the 3 Burberry stores at the Singapore Airport.

He says the store person there stated that this black n white pattern was only being sold there, at the Singapore airport; and that it was 450$ (US dollars) and that he still has the original receipt. SO! I am going to from now on, believe that this bag is the real-deal. All the rivets do have the Burberry horse on them...regardless; I love it; and I have yet to see ANYONE in the states with one similar.

LOL brbrrygrl, glad you got it sorted out, though in defense of my country I'll tell you that, as long as it's bought in the Singapore Changi airport, there's no way it'll be a fake. ;)

I've walked into a Burberry store here before, and had seen their small leather goods that said both made in China and in Italy... Had been rather irked; it felt like they were double-standard. But now, judging from the replies to this post so far I guess Burberry makes their stuff everywhere hah.

By the way, nice bag!

Whoa girl calm down. :smile1:

Is there an inner pocket in the bag? Maybe you can try looking for that "made in" tag in the inner pocket if you haven't already checked? I personally don't own any Burberry bags (... yet) but I have a Miu Miu bag, and I couldn't find the tag anywhere either until I actually felt it by accident when I was rumaging in the inner pocket!

Both of my bags are made in China. I was really hesitate in buying them, but just couldn't resist how cute and pretty they are. I did check the quality of the bags though.. Surprisingly the SA at Bloomy didn't even know that Burb also make bags outside of Italy and UK. She was surprised when I show her the summer collection this year.. most of them are "Made in China"
