No way is there Balenciaga! Mine is a hit or miss (Germantown, MD) -somedays there's RACKS AND RACKS of designer things, other days there's nothing.
Where are the best TJ Maxx and Marshalls?!?!?

It all depends. Even if you find something high end, it is usually over priced anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a Balenciaga found once in awhile, but there will not be anything regular. I almost never see anything high end near me. I would probably have to hit the Seattle store to find anything really good.
The most expensive bag I've seen in the NYC area at a Marshalls or TJ Maxx was a Carlos Falchi blue/black python hobo (over $1k but kind of beat up).
at my marshalls in towson, md i haven't found much good designer stuff (but i don't go often enough to investigate more). i've found several classic cole haan shoes for about $70, broken d&b bags for about $100, no good clothing. my godmother works at a different marshalls though and about 2 years ago she said they had a LV. i don't know if it's true or not because she isn't that familiar with designers though. i'll have to show her a pic and tell her to buy whatever comes in though

I think I know the Marshalls - not much good stuff. I also go to the TJ Maxx at Valley Center in Baltimore and I have never found good handbags or shoes. I have, though, found some good deals on skincare products - Perricone, Exuviance, Elizabeth Arden, Perlier, etc. - and some good deals on lingerie. Am always jealous when I hear of other tpfers who have such great Marshalls and TJ Maxx's nearby
trust me i'm the same way! i always wonder how people can pull together outfits and find great accessories for like 10 bucks. if i need shoes, i'll hit up marshalls. for clothing though, i stick to loehmanns-better selection and more organized.
for a tpf meeting, a bunch of ladies should hit up some marshalls and tj maxx and see what they find

The TJ Maxx in Long Beach, CA had Balenciaga about six months ago. When I was in Palm Desert a couple of weeks ago, there were many designer purses in the locked case, including Balenciaga. I think the Palm Desert TJ Maxx is the nicest one I have seen.
I was in Palm Desert for a conference a few years ago. That TJ Maxx was AMAZING. I got some really great jewelry there! And an extra bikini for the hotel pool.
