When Your New Bag Arrives Do You.........

it depends... I remember it always takes me a little while before I start using my new LV bag. esp my damier speedy and multicolor speedy.

but I got no probem for my other bag.. I used my fendi spy, paddy or balenciaga straight after I received them!

I always wait to make sure I'm in love with the bag. I don't want to use it if there's a chance it might be returned.

I think for me whether is it a new bag or an old bag, whatever I carry depends on my clothes. I also don't want to be carrying the same bag almost every single day. I like to carry different designs so that people won't get bored looking at me carrying the same bag everyday.

I use it ASAP so I know if there is anything wrong with it right away I used to wait for a few weeks, but now I just bring them out, they're just wasting away in the boxes!

i use them right away and non stop till i feel fed up and go back to the rotation process

When I get a new one, I feel bored with my old one. I need to start rotating more, or some! because I feel guilty for buying a bag and not using it long. My husband thinks this is the dumbest thing ever. Most people I know use one bag only, and they think I'm nuts for liking handbags. Does this happen to anyone else??

As soon as I get them, I start cramming my thing in as fast as I can, as if I had never owned another bag in my life.

I do this, too :shame: I use it for 2-3 weeks, then switch. At least that's how it's been lately.

It depends. I have some bags that I consider "collector pieces" such as my fendi sequinned spy and Chanel reissue that get used on occassion. However, when I got my Gucci boston bag and GD drape bag, I used them right away.

I might be the odd ball here. When I get a new bag, I'm usually too nervous to use it immediately. I'll have it in the dust bag for days and will take it out every night (after everyone is asleep) and goo goo ga ga over it.

Haha, I thought I was the only one - I bought a Coach tote two weeks ago, and used it for the first time yesterday!

Ah heck, I'm such a wack, mine has to stay in the trunk of my car til I'm ready to admit how much I spent. Then, it stays (all nicely stuffed) on a coat tree hook in the computer room where I work, so I can peek over at it. Then finally, when I have enough courage I start putting things in it, but may not take it out of the house. I have to practice my look. Clearly I have issues.

I also have a tendency to use the newer bag right away for a while. In general, I used to switch handbags nearly everyday, but I am trying to limit changing to every other week.

with me it all depends on the material of the bag. fabrics and leathers get used a lot. my canvas bags like LVs only get used on occasion.
