When to return your newly purchased LV

I actually don't find this funny as it's so true. All points infuriate me, especially the 'I'll use it and see if I like it - then I'll return within the 28 day window'.
I totally agree. I would prefer Louis Vuitton to have the same return/exchange policy as Dior and Chanel have here in Canada. Everything is either exchange-only or final sale (for costume jewelry at Dior). It may reduce the number of people modelling bags they don't own on Instagram.

Do people actually do this? Noooooo:amazed:

Yes! - The most recent was about one week ago! Purchased from the Store, uploaded pictures & stated that they had read horror stories of LV Stores selling Fakes! It happens maybe once a month on ATLV Thread. :annoyed:
i can understand her questioning when members post threads about LV boutique and authenticity. There is another post today about it....

# I read about LV prices going up on TPF, so I panicked. Because I always wanted to be that person saying ‘I can’t believe I paid xx dollars for this bag some random years ago, I would never pay what it costs now’. (Loath these casual remarks and don’t kid yourself, you would cough up the funds regardless)

Prices have not gone up since, so should I do a return?

Love this thread idea, had to share my contribution but not sure what # we’re on:

I bought an Alma BB but didn’t like the top handles so I cut them off. I than realized the bag just didn’t meet my needs and now LV won’t let me do a return or even an exchange (I’m very reasonable) but I’m within the return period.
So funny! But is this a true story???

39. I know a particular bag is difficult to get to get. But because of my record of buying, I manage to get my hands on a 2nd one. Now, I could return it, or I could try to sell it for a profit. And if I can't, I can always return it.
Someone must have returned a Catogram bandeau, cuz one day, I just walked in the store and was able to purchase one that happened to be in stock at the time. The SA told me she couldn't believe there was one still unsold!!!

I posted on that Thread! I got confused which Thread I was on! :confused1: Lol!

Is this even possible, you think?

A Resounding NO.

My own personal experience of returning an item in my Country & at one of many LV Stores I visit has been - There has always been at least 2 if not 3 SA's checking my returned item (taken out to back) including either the Assistant manager or the Store manager. I don't know how other Countries do their returns - But that has always been my experience - But then again, I've hardly ever needed to return or exchange anything. Even been offered a drink while I wait.
