when the london list open?

it will open next week? i was thinking that when i call the store in the morning once they open, usually 9:30am , and i am in Nottingham~i go to the train station ASAP, it takes 2 and a half hour to Bond st.......it will be 12 o'clock. Then the list may close at that time~I donot have any travel plan in next half year. London is my easliest way to get it. That was what i think before.Obviously, it is not. What can i do?

Christinahong, yes, you do have to be in London at the H boutique the morning the list opens to put your name down as it closes by lunch and last year I heard the queue was sooooooooooooo long outside the H Bond St because word got out early. It means coming in to London very shortly. I hear that it is easier to get a bag at FSH or NYC.

if u cant get into London early then it might be a gamble getting on the train and arriving here at noon as the list might have closed by then. From what i have gathered after reading several threads here, FSH is still your best bet. :yes:

yes thats the flagship store in Paris. take the eurostar there and i think you are more likely to get what you want there than in London. I have only seen three Birkins in the last 4months and they were all at the back.. i too am a relative newbie so maybe the seasoned H ladies here have seen more in the H stores in london. :heart:

I see....Thanks....so much. For me, i need to apply for visa to paris. It is more complicated. Let's still keep an eye on London store. :yes:

When the list opens its for the orders that the store placed at the Podium - where they placed orders for x numbers of bags in different colors and hardwares and they are then on first come first serve basis on the list when it opens.

ooooh.. did u place your order/s then? i do live nearby but have given up on chasing for my bags. It takes so much effort to call daily and then rushing to get in line when the list opens etc etc.. ive decided to take a trip to FSH one of these days and if i find one then ill be happy and if i dont.. so be it.

All my bags have been chance findings and i find that even more fun than hunting tirelessly..but thats just my lazy ol' self.

I did place an order for something but it was not one of my fav choices as what I wanted disappeared right in front of my eyes!!! 3 of them were taken right before me and the last one was taken by the lady just in front of me!!!! :tdown:

anon00 that's what happened to me when I place my order for my Curry Birkin. Curry wasn't my 1st, 2nd, 3rd.... choice but I really really love it now.
