I remember Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous in the 80's. There was lots of coverage in Vanity Fair and W magazine also at that time of society and royals. I wanted an Hermes Birkin when I saw them in the early 90's in the Palm Beach store so I must have heard about them in the media. I just couldn't justify spending $4,000.00 on a handbag!
