Well this guy once told me that "black people don't like horses"

Wow.. where was this guy living... under a rock? Wake up! It's 2006! I guess if your black you can't play golf or hockey either.. right? :push:

I think that it's all about what you like.. personally I could definately see myself with those LV bags by Julie Verhoeven (sp?) but I would never touch a Juicy bag  Nothing to do with age.. just preference!

I have never looked at bags as having an age limit. I think many of the 'IT' bags are so expensive the majority of their purchasers must surely be from women\men over 30 or even older just because of earning power. Here in London, I see women of all ages carrying all manner of bags and no-one I know comments on their choices. It's the same with shoes. They are the 2 items that cross all ages and sizes. I would say though that your choice of clothing can affect the way a bag is perceived, but at the end of the day, if it makes you feel good just go for it.

I think there is an age limit... i dont think a women in her 90's should be carrying soemthing thats bright pink. I don't think it's cool for a middle aged woman to carry the IT dooney line, but definitly they can carry the louis vuitton multi color line. The older you get the more luxurious you should be... whether for you luxurious is a beautiful coach tote or a hermes birkin. Buy whats comfortable but be simple as you get older. When your 40 if you want a wild bag... pick out a bag that is bright in colorbut simle and classic in shape. Chanel, Louis vuitton, hermes, and fendi carry wonderful mature bags... but as you age steer clear of overdone frills, hobos, and of course overly trendy bags. the simplicity as you age mixed with the classic luzury of a hand bag will make you stay current and not look as if you are trying was too hard.
