My first designer bag was a Coach Soho Flap that I bought from macys in 2006. It was so small and I thought I was crazy for spending 200+ on a handbag. I haven't carried it in awhile, but I still love it and carry it when I can get away with something small.

I had previous bags given to me as gifts but the first one that I got myself was a black epi leather LV Mabillon backpack that I purchased 13 years ago as gift for myself after graduating from college. I still carry the bag to this day. It's in pretty good shape and it's been around the world! Great travel bag!

Mine was a Louis Vuitton Delightful PM about a year ago.
Never cared so much about designer bags before.
Maybe I made my biggest mistake that day, now it seems I can't stop getting new ones! :graucho:

My first designer handbag was a brown leather Coach bag, back in 1992. I was in love with that bag and would still have it had it not been stolen my Freshmen year in college in 1994. They just don't make them like they did back them. Here's a picture of the exact bag. FYI, I did borrow this picture from the internet.

The first contemporary designer bag I purchased was a Gloria Vanderbilt ( my high school years). My Aunt passed down her LV bucket to me that I carried forever. My first 'high-end' designer bag was a Ferragamo.
