What's your FIRST designer bag you ever bought?!

My first designer bag was a secondhand Marc Jacobs multi pocket - the OG style in a pretty light yellow, super buttery soft leather, suede lining, and brass hardware. I wish I'd held onto it, but I sold it a few years back.

My first - and to this day, only - designer bag that I didn't purchase secondhand is a Balenciaga envelope clutch in black. No regrets!

I still have two multi pocket bags that I bought secondhand, and I can't seem to part with them. Ever so often, I pull one out to use it.

Lanvin For Me Double Carry. Still my number one for many reasons and I don't really have many other designer bags (still have a spending limit I can't bring myself to go beyond).

Mulberry large Alexa satchel. How I bought it was hilarious.

Cute guy I worked with: “Hey I’m going to a fashion show tonight with this guy I’m dating.”

Me (tell me more...)

Coworker: “yeah it’s at Soho house, some brand called Mulberry. Have you heard of them?

Me: [emoji41]
(At the time Mulberry had just released the Alexa and it was an it bag).

The next day he came into work and said his boyfriend offered to get me a bag using his employee discount.

I was new to NY at the time and it was my fashion week miracle.

I was in Paris and my friend was into DESIGNER EVERYTHING. At the time I think I was rocking a Stand Bag (terrible) Anyway, I went into LV but left without buying a bag because I couldn't understand what the fuss was about and hated the lining of the canvas bags... so I walked across the road and purchased a full leather "orange" Lancel bag. I still wear it to brighten up an outfit. But now have an LV collection lol
