I adore Boden which has a US distribution center as well as London. The prints are wonderful. The tailoring great. The trick is to download the size guide for each item, scroll down to the garment measurements (after measuring yourself, of course) and THEN choose your size. They offer free returns for 90 days with full credit. Their plastic packaging can be resealed and the package sent back with the enclosed pre-adressed label. Sale items must be returned in 7 days. If you have a problem with the item: say the seam rips, the zipper doesn't work, you can return for up to a year but you'll only get account credit. I don't think their line is $$$$ considering the fresh designs. Often trends are right off the runway. They did a pointy toe scalloped edged shoe that was 10X more comfortable and sleek compared to the Chloe version.
I don't like their handbags. I much prefer ksny which I now buy on eBay if I can see it's authentic. I don't buy FAKE anything.
They debut new things very often. Boden also has a very high end line called Boden Icons. I can't afford it. It sells out very quickly. Usually items in this line are cutting edge and have a great deal of detail such as embroidery. I rarely see anything in Clearance nor is it ever discounted. They run sales all the time. They send emails to notify you of them. I have been shopping with Boden for 8 years.
Every time I wear Boden and walk down Worth Avenue in Palm Beach women stop me and ask what label I'm wearing. You know the "ladies who lunch" bunch. I feel great when that happens. (Worth Avenue is Palm
Beach's Rodeo Drive: every high end luxury line has a shop there).
I'm glad I found this site. I loved the thread against fake Kate Spade bags on EBay. I am shocked anyone at EBay took action. They seem to turn the other way more often now that they are publicly held.
