It saddens me to see that Stam in there.

That was to mention a few only....for example paddington also as I mentioned before!
I know that everyone loved their stam bags at some point, but it wasn't for me guess I was unlucky with it...it was from the previous ones since I bought it long time ago but carried it only three or four times max., The chain was heavy, and the puffiness of the quilts was gone! I should take a picture of what I'm trying to explain.

I bought the LV limited edition Kalahari in 2009. It's beautiful with all the details but not really practical to my lifestyle. It was an impulsive purchase on my trip to Paris. I'm debating I whether to keep it or sale it.

It's gigantic! I'm a very tiny girl (4'11", not thin, but ok build) and the bag is just so huge. It looks like a garment bag when I carry it. And when I have it in the crook of my arm, the bag reaches up to my knees. :p I was so disappointed. I bought it online without seeing it too. I've learned my lesson, never to buy anything online without at least asking for the dimensions of the bag.

I used to lust after that bag and was thinking about ordering it sight unseen since we don't have a Miu Miu boutique here. Is it really that big? Well, Although I'm cooling down, but wow! It doesn't feel big to me.

Wow! To the knee is definitely huge! I get your pain now. I used to make mistakes shopping online, too, but mostly with clothes. Now, I don't do that anymore unless I get to try it on before somewhere.

The Speedy. Pain in the butt. Er, arm.

Agreed! I still have this bag somewhere in my closet, but never felt the urge to carry it. When I surf the closet with my eyes I never look at it. I'm sure it's a dear bag to many people, and at some point it was to me but it's not as practical as I would my bag to be

If you won't lose a great deal of money and you feel you would never carry it or even regret not having her around. Then selling her would be a good thinking

Wow. Just somehow came across this thread, and reading all the posts made me realize just how unhappy I've been with many of the bags I've purchased throughout the years! I've owned all different brands, premier and non premier designers, and one thing I will say. It seems I've had the most problems with higher end bags! I can honestly say, I've NEVER had any flaws or defects in any Coach or Dooneys I've owned. It's a shame, because I'm wayyy over the Coach phase. And despite their remarkable craftsmanship, most Dooneys simply aren't my style. With that being said, I will list my most disappointing bags in the following post....

1) Treesje Harlow Satchel DO NOT BUY THIS BAG!!!! This is by far the worst bag anyone can buy, and it's a shame, because the leather is so luxurious and yummy, and the pleating detail is to die for! First off, look at where the handles are placed on the picture. They're sewn, like, in the middle of the bag on both sides, so the bag like, wobbles, and doesn't carry straight up and down like it should...it lays on it's side and looks completely stupid. Also, the fact that this is a fold over bag, only makes it more of a pain! The magnetic piece to keep it folded is wayyy too strong. The zipper goes all around the opening, and is very hard to unzip around the corners. When you DO manage to get it open, you have to unfold it, and it's like a super-deep black hole!!! The opening is also too small, and it's impossible to find anything in it! Oh, and all that gorgeous chain detail??? Weighs a TON!!! It's a shame, cuz this bag is so pretty. This bag originally retailed for $695. I got it on sale for around $425. Needless to say, I never used it. Sold it on eBay, and after two returns from ppl who hated it, finally someone bought it and kept it for $99. Good riddance!!!ImageUploadedByPurseForum1391965390.932671.jpg

2) Marc Jacobs Patchwork Stam (picture #1). Like many ppl said, wayyy too heavy, and I normally don't mind heavy bags! Whenever you'd set the bag down, it would make the loudest banging noise. It also didn't sit nice when you put it down, and would slouch longways like a burrito! lol. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1391966433.165529.jpg

3) Chloe Patent Bay Satchel (picture #2) The "patent" was NOT leather. Was some kind of PVC. Turned yellow. Got transfer marks all over. Was hideous!!! Was embarrassed to carry it! Looked like a plastic garbage bag. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1391966456.965529.jpg

4) Chloe Python Silverado. Nice leather and python, however, it was a pain to get in and out of. Also didn't fit many things inside.

5) Betsey Johnson Gold Studded Tote. My mom got it for me for Xmas by accident. Lol. She was just learning to use the internet. It *could* have been nice, except for the tissue- thin "leather", and shoddy craftsmanship. There was visible glue all around the studs. Many studs were crooked, and peeling off in many places. I believe she purchased it from Bloomimgdales for $395.

6) Chanel Chain Around Hobo. Was super excited to get this bag, but it was a major disappointment. I just don't like the way it sits on the shoulder and slouches.

7) Coach Ski Bag. This was my first designer bag, so I'm hesitant about selling it. Especially since I paid full price for it, I believe $595 at the time, and only used it once or twice. The rabbit fur and satin are gorgeous on this bag, but it is the second most non-functional bag I can think of! The strap is too short to wear on your shoulder, but yet, wayyy too long to carry on your arm! When you try to put in on your shoulder, it just slips off, cuz the strap is also too wide. It's an odd, square, boxy shape, and if you CAN get it to stay on your shoulder, it sticks out and bangs everything. Despite it's bulkiness, it also hardly fits anything! Major disappointment for my first bag!ImageUploadedByPurseForum1391967173.115445.jpg

8) Dolce & Gabbana Inna Tote. No idea why they made this bag. Sold it immediately. No idea what the purpose is of having the zipper through the shoulder straps, but it is dumb!!! ImageUploadedByPurseForum1391967329.506359.jpg

9) Gucci Boston Joy in Gunmetal. The foil handles started peeling immediately!!! :(

Haha. Sorry for the rant here...

10) CC SKYE Large Bardot Satchel. This is one that Lauren Conrad used to wear a lot. I usually love CC SKYE bags, plus I have the small version of this, so I thought I'd love the large one. Not so. It's so awkwardly shaped. Check out the stock photo, versus real life:

11) CC SKYE Large Taupe Tote. Another one that had to go. Lovely leather, but was the size of a briefcase !!! Also, the metal handles hurt my arm/shoulder and made it very inconvenient to carry.

12) Miu Miu Fringe Hobo. Gorgeous bag. Nice leather and craftsmanship, but wayyy to inconvenient to get into. The handle is too short, and the opening is too small. :(
