I've been lucky..the disappointing bags I've bought I was able to return right away...those included a Chloe Edith Bowler and a Chloe Chocolate Brown Silverado (not the regular silverado)..they were too big..and shapeless for me

anna corrinna jetsetter jr ....it was a cute bag in pictures so i ordered it offline. when i got it, the leather was cracking and soooo dry...plus the color was just kind of an ugly brown and dull (could have been the crackingness). i returned it and got the marc by marc jacobs aline satchel:heart: instead...MUCH BETTER

YSL Tribute bag in black embossed leather. I returned it as soon after I opened the box as I could. Apparently, it comes in two sizes and I had accidentally ordered the smaller one.

I have a large one in white patent that I adore, though.

Michael Kors... I have no idea what the bag was called, but it was this awesome blue color (like the color Kale calls thunder).

After about a month, the color on the main part of the bag had faded a LOT, but the color on the handles (which went all the way down the sides of the bag) was the same as before. It looks horrible! I actually cried over this bag.

For me, the disappointment is to myself that I made the wrong choice with the LV Epi Alma. It just doesn't fit my life style and weather here, therefore, it is only sitting in the closet. I should have bought the BV veneta instead.

Did you return the bag? You should have gotten your money back. No bag is supposed to do that!

I bought a Marc Jacobs Classic Hobo in Cocoa from Bloomies. It was on sale for $537. I was so excited, because it was my first MJ bag. It ended up being a disappointment, because the bag Bloomies sent me was defective. The stitching that attached the strap to the bag was coming loose. Bloomies didn't have any more left, so I couldn't exchange. I was so sad. The bag was absolutely gorgeous otherwise. That was the first time I actually felt like crying over a bag. :crybaby:

I tried - NM wouldn't take it back, said I had to call Michael Kors. Michael Kors said I had to take it back to the store and that if they wouldn't exchange it for me I was SOL.

It makes it hard because I really like some Michael Kors bags, but I will never ever buy another one after that:tdown:

Weird service on NM's part :confused1:

I bought my first and only Tano bag several years ago. It was a pale gold colored leather tote. It wouldn't stay on my shoulder and after being carried just a few times, the gold started flaking off and it looked like a raggedy, wet, brownish mess.

Two AC bags - City and Lady Duffle. Love the way both look, but was relay disappointed by the quality of the leather and workmanship. I hear both have improved, but I'm not willing to take that risk again. Sorry to everyone who loves theirs!

I also had an unfortunate Tano experience - as widely noted and discussed in the thread I started about it. I bought the Fonzworth Tote in Red from Luna Boston and it literally had the color of dried blood. The handle was splitting, the leather was dry and rubbed looking, the color was splotchy, and it was covered in marks and scratches. It was seriously beat up, I am sure I had gotten an old customer return or overworked display. It was my first serious purchase and I spent a long time deciding what to get. I was SO excited to get it and when it turned out to be so crummy I cried. Like literally sitting in my dining room looking at the bag and crying.

I sent it back and it took 2 weeks to get my refund!

Then I spent that refund money on a HH Mercer Satchel that is so divided not one of the pockets is big enough to hold any of my stuff...now thats sitting in my office waiting to be listed on ebay.
