From dipping into savings to eating ramen, what's the craziest thing you've ever done to be able to afford a bag you wanted? :P
Well, I’m working 35,000 extra Jobs and I still had to put the bag on lawaway. Lol Actually I passed on a upgrade to my wedding ring for our 10 year anniversary. There will always be another diamond right?!

I'm trying to sell my ex's Bang and olufsen television that he bought for $15K about 4 years ago. He had to leave he country under short notice to resume an assignment overseas. He promised me forever and he loyal girlfriend that I was...I took care of putting his stuff in storage for him since he was moving into a furnished apartment overseas and didn't need to shop his stuff. I took care of his stuff as though they were mine. He broke up with me 4 months later over the phone and I haven't set my eyes on him since. I have access to the storage but the TV is nicely crated in my house(not in storage) . I am willing to trade this POS TV (it's actually a nice badass TV but I'm not that into electronics) for a nice Chanel jumbo flap (not even a birkin). Lol. He'll hath no fury right heheh

That would be horrible! I once bought a IWC watch and then got it stolen on the way home from the store  Gone £10k

OMG I am so sorry to hear this happened to you. This is my biggest fear when I shop and purchase expensive items. If I do purchase something really really expensive I try to bring a larger bag to put the shopping bag in to look discreet, or I carry the item on me. I always feel like there are ruthless people that are targeting shoppers.

Same here. Worked overtime. I work as a pharmacist so overtime can add up quickly. I do work alot which helps pay for my purses but kid (s- second one on the way), daycare, student loans and mortage negates all of my working so I have to take a break from luxury shopping now. I've done the no eating out thing for months in the past which helps to save alot of money. Sometimes when I buy purses I think to myself how it could have paid for a family trip to Asia or Europe . I feel guilty but my kid is super young and I'm pregnant and I have a husband who doesn't like to travel with our young child soooo purses it is!

Just had my craziest bag acquisition...Stayed on the phone and text for hours with restricter and looted the VBH sample sale long distance. 2 eelskin Breras for under $1,000. I’ve wanted a Brera forever. The process was pure insanity, and I’m lucky she put up with it.

I worry abt attracting a mugger so besides my Gucci wallet, I carry a cheap wallet with old credit cards and $20. It's my decoy to surrender to any muggers!
