Hello LV lovers!
I just saw this lovely NEW work tote in the store. Apparently this is the “Sully Zipped MM” (see photo).
I plan to use this for work papers, a 13inch laptop, typical business stuff and maybe even a comfy pair of flats! I don't baby my bags though... Also worried about the weight of the bag.
Has anyone bought it? Impressions? Thanks!!

I recently got a new job, my first time in the corporate world at an office downtown. It is a business casual environment although I am someone who tends to dress up.
I am trying to contemplate some options for a laptop bag. I know the NF is out there, but I am thinking it may be a bit too casual for my tastes. On the other hand, because I will be taking my laptop and papers often to client sites, I want something big enough to fit a 13" laptop (HP) with some room. Would you ladies think a backpack is a terrible idea? I will have a separate purse for my own belongings.
Any suggestions that you ladies use would be great! Thank you!

I would not do a backpack (sorry) I'd go for a black leather tote or roomy bag, preferably in epi. gld!
Have a look at the men’s section on the LV website. Lots of options for work bags.
I agree that a backpack may not look professional enough. Have you looked into the men's line? The Porte Document Voyage (PDV) might be a good option . It is a soft-sided briefcase which can be used in a business casual or more business formal environment IMO. I have also seen one woman use the larger size Alma as a business bag and it looked terrific with her business attire.
With regard to using a backpack, I think it depends entirely on the workplace and industry. I work for one of the Big 4 consulting firms, focusing primarily on the construction and oil and gas industries. A lot of my colleagues and clients carry lightweight backpacks for their sheer functionality. I know that many members on this forum love using the NF for their laptops, etc., but heaving around an overstuffed tote bag in my experience would raise more eyebrows than a backpack would.

The bag is roomy on the inside, but the zipper opening is not huge/wide. For an all leather bag, I do not find it heavy.
Can you visit a boutique & check it out in person?
I have this bag also, but I can't answer most of your questions about what fits inside because I haven't used it yet. Just got it about a week ago. I can tell you that I too find it to be pretty light for a leather bag. Wish I could be more helpful. I just love the clean look and empriente leather.
