I had two small babies and was walking through Saks. The medium classic flap was $1,500. I thought, when would I ever carry it, I only carry diaper bags.........Still sick to my stomach every time I remember.

Chanel Le Boy in the watercolour from 2015...
Chanel salmon pink calfskin bag from 2013... I don't even recall the style name, but I have never seen it in store ever again.

I stalk the Chanel boutique finds thread in the Chanel shopping forum and I've seen the water color bags show up from time to time. Some department stores may have them in stock but not on display.

There was a time last year when I just went vegan, and I decided to sell some of my bags, and ended up selling my Dior Lady and Diorama. I am still vegan in terms of food and cosmetics but I decided thay I couldnt give up all the fashion designers I love.
So now I have a lovely Hermes collection. I dont regret selling the Dior Lady, its such an inconvenient bag to use for me, but I do regret selling the diorama. It was a beautiful thing in a pale pink, and I beat myself up for letting it go.

Another one was a barenia Birkin in size 30. I felt the size was too small and sold it. Honestly it was an impulse purchase and an impulse sell, too...I regret both! If Id given myself more time, Id probably keep it...its barenia after all! - I now have another 30 Birkin which I love and I can see I was wrong about the size being too small.

A gorgeous pre-owned pastel color Valentino glam lock bag I saw last week on a consignment site, in great condition and deeply discounted too, I don't think I'll ever come across another one like that again.
