I have two, one story has a happy ending the other doesn't; the bad one first! I missed out on an absolutely incredible deal on a BV Roma in a beautiful cream color, exterior was in great condition the only flaw was the metal closure on the inside fell out. Dragged my feet, had it in my cart, and the next second it was gone. I'm pretty sure that loss will haunt me forever.
Second story, I sold a gorgeous camel-colored Valentino rockstud tote and regretted it ever since. The good news is I happened to pick up another one, the same exact one, and for just about the net price I sold my last one for

The Chanel "mermaid bag" in purple or bronze. I love the bag but I didn't have the money at the time.. and by the time I was ready to buy it, they were nowhere to be found.
There have been quite a few but my greatest regret is the Chanel vintage jumbo flap in lambskin. It's still on my list though.
I almost walked away from a bag I fell hard for, and my sister shouted me back to my senses. It's the Dolce & Gabbana medium Miss Sicily in the "Leo" print; it's a leopard print on the most beautiful hand-cut velvet I've ever seen. Even on sale, tho, it was pricey and I kept walking away from it. For about a month. It stayed on the shelf, waiting for me. I'd go back & back & back, trying it on, taking photos, etc. The sales people got to know me: "Ah, back again..?" I don't know why I hesitated as long as I did, and my sister scolded me, saying "You'll regret not getting it forever! What the hell, you've strolled into Chanel many times and bought retail without any hesitation, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!???" And, she was right. During the weeks of hesitation ("I dunno, the medium looks puny next to my size 14 frame...etc.") I actually bought a classic large black leather Miss Sicily along with a jazzy yellow snakeskin shoulder strap. I'm thrilled with the big black Sicily, but still the medium leopard velvet haunted me. I went back to the outlet and miraculously it was still there, so I got it. Waiting for both to be shipped to me and it's all I can think about! Baby photos will be posted after delivery!!
A 1997 croc Kelly 28 sellier in blue roi! It was in great condition but didn't come with a CITES. So I didn't buy it. I regret this today.
me too. that was my biggest bag regret. not getting it or having the money for it when it was still available.
It just happened today. I hesitated bidding on a Chanel WOC in caviar w SHW because I wanted to see how high it would go in the last few minutes. Five minutes before it ended my sister calls and I lose track of time. The WOC sold for an amazing price and it could have been mine! The price will probably haunt me forever! Lesson learned: don't pick up the phone when you're going to do some major ebay bidding LOL.
