I'm pretty intrigued about Prada luggages cause the neo nylon cost close to the price of a full leather one (both same size and both Prada). So I am like, hmm...what's Prada's thing here?

I agree the triangle logo and simplistic sexy style are the main attractions, but Prada is just so expensive, they make Louis vuitton look like values....

Prada nylon is lightweight and holds up well. If it gets dirty, I just wipe clean with a damp cloth. I get mine on sale, so they're a good bargin. I've had some for years (I used them daily) and had no problems.

My first designer bag was a Prada, so maybe I'm biased. But I've had this nylon messenger bag for two years and used it almost every day for school. It's help up pretty well - no loose stitching, rips, snags, etc.

But there are some Prada bags that I definitely would not carry.

ITA, and they are very Classy. My local Prada store is AWFUL, they dont get many bags that I like so I tend to get most of my Prada on ebay.

I dont visit the Prada sub forum much because I love LV, But Prada is by far more practical than any other designer, I use my Prada Nylon messenger for college everyday. Prada ROCKS ! :tup::nuts:

I like Prada because they also make bags I like. Which is simple designed nylon bags. I'm not into leather. I think Prada has a classic design. Sure other designers do as well, but I just prefer Prada.

I 100% agree with the durability and practicality of Nylon.

But it IS very expensive (for Nylon) and again, it does get faked easily (fake Nylon aren't that bad in quality).

And to visit their Boutiques they pretty much throw all their bags on the counter/floor and it does at times look really "mass produced".

I'm more into Prada leather and really, it's super expensive....

I love the Prada leather(not into the nylon) bags, especially those from these recent seasons!
Recently, i went to a local Prada boutique and saw this most beautiful tote bag with detachable straps(i dunnoe the name) but the SA told me its deerskin so i figured it'll cost a bomb. And it did! Love the leather but NOT the price.
However having said that, i think the leather and design is worth the high price, just wish i can afford it.

Ah I love my Prada bags. Very simple and elegant - striking!!! Very durable. My bags are almost 3 years old and although I switch out throuout the year they show very very little wear!!!

I got my first prada bag (a calfskin pleated hobo) this year and now I know what all the fuss is about! It's simple, sexy, durable, timeless, and doesn't scream "BRAND NAME HERE!!" like some bags do. I love it just as much with the nameplate tucked under my arm as I do when the nameplate is in full view. Personally, I think the leather is amazingly soft and the construction is excellent. It's certainly not everyone's taste, but I choose Prada over Chanel and I've never regretted it :smile1:

I have to admit that I really got into Prada because of my husband. He loves their clothes and I have to say that their men's collection is fabulous. Very stylish sexy suits.

Then he bought me my first Prada dress and I'm hooked. Impeccable cut and quality!

I've always had Prada purses received as gifts. I had a gorgeous soft gold nylon haversack in high school that I adored but I honestly felt that it was over priced.

Don't get me wrong, I like Prada purses. Having owned many over the years, I wouldn't say that their quality is the absolute best. It's great quality but I have many cheaper purses that were just as good. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy the purses but the clothes, oh my.

Still Prada always has a special place in my heart because it constantly innovates. High end purses made of nylon? Pleated handbags that at the first glance just seem so over the top but after a second glance, fantastic! And bowling bags made popular?

I like Prada purses but I love the clothes more. My DH taught me to appreciate quality and good taste. Plus, it doesn't hurt that it is the one brand that he would purchase for me without me asking. He dislikes obvious labels (so sorry LV and Fendi) and Prada has very clean designs.

I love prada because of their minimal and classic design. It's trendsetting and innovative. I'm especially in love with their nappa leather purses. It's buttery soft!!! I also like their quilted nylon items too!! It not like it's classic nylon items.

#1 Quality and durability!! I have a leather Prada for three years now and it's in exactly the same condition it was three years ago, and I'm not that careful of a person :p. Let's just say that it's been rained on a couple of times, and been through a water bottle leaking accident, but when it dried you couldn't notice a thing!
