I don't put anything in the Kelly pockets because of this. Everything goes in the organizer except phone, sunglasses, and/or say a Ulysse. I'm sure it depends on the type of leather, but accidents happen. My Evelyne got soaked through (long sad story) and the things that were in the front pocket at the time made dents because the leather was wet and stretching.

I'm so sorry to hear about your evelyne. :nogood: Did someone knock over a glass of water on the airplane you were on? I thought I read in another thread this is what happened.

I will hop over to the bag insert thread to figure out what type I should buy for my kelly.

The thickest item that I put in either front or back pocket is my Tarmac passport cover that I use to hold coupons. I've seen ebay listings of Birkins and Kellys with the outline of a wallet or notebook on the front or back panel, and that's just not a look that I care for. I just slide my notebook or iphone between my wallet and my Karo pouch. A bag insert works as well.

An imprint appears on my togo birkin because I left a notebooks in the zipped pocket too long (I use Moleskin notebooks like yours). It doesn't go aways even after a spa. Maybe I'm the only person who can see it but I swear it's visible.

Now, I don't use any pockets in my B, K, so K. Everything goes to the purse organizer.

Myh, mai tai is releasing her inserts for 32 Kelly in a couple of weeks. I have mine on order (as is my Kelly, which is on its way across the ocean.... Little hit excited) otherwise I was I was looking at divide and conquer on etsy.
Thanks for reviving this thread, one of my faves I had forgotten about.
I cannot answer your q though but also carry those items.

Thank you :flowers: I won't go OT here but it was much worse than that. I will post the story in a thread after the airline settles on what to do about a destroyed H bag (and a Ulysse in the bargain).

Well I went right over and took my iPhone out of that pocket in my Kelly! So glad to know this. I am a big fan of MaiTai's products so will be ordering an insert. Thanks, all

Hi, MYH! Just chiming in here because I use the small Moleskines too -- I use the ones that are hardcover and therefore slightly thicker than the ones you posted. I use a small Fourbi in my 32 Kellys, and slide the notebook between the insert and the back of the bag. Does that make sense? I don't really use the inside pockets either, unless it's for something very small/flat.
