What would you do with your unused bags?

I always say sell and streamline, but I don't like excess. No guilt, no fuss, and more space and money to buy more. Its like recyling!

I also have a few I bought on impulse buy. I was cleaning and conditioning my bags last night and a few of my bags also still have tags. And then some others I have used just a few times. I was just making a list of the bags I have. I have 16 Coach bags, 4 Gucci's and one Burberry. And a husband that encourages me to buy more. Which is not always such a good thing. I am not complaining but, I handle ALL the money so it is easy for him to encourage it when he has no clue what our bank balance is. He will just say yes if you like it and think we can afford it "Go for it". He has never told me no. He actually loves to go and pick out ones that he thinks I would like. That is his way of buying me presents. Since he will never just go into a store and buy me something without being there. He always tells me I am impossible to shop for since I buy everything I want when I first see it. After 20 years I know not to wait for him to go into a store and pick it out without me there. If I did that I would never have anything. But he ALWAYS goes with me shopping. He is not one of those guys that hates shopping he just hates making decisions.

Since they are brand new with tags, I would either sell them at ebay or MP, or give them away for friends during their birthdays. This way, I'll have more shopping funds and space for new bags! Coach will definitely have more new items out every season and if you have been keeping them for 1-2 years without having the urge to use them, you'll NEVER gonna feel like using them in another 1-2 years! JMHO. ;)

I agree!!

I just went to the Coach store today and got my new love! Well, I took out all my coach bags and took some pics. I did not include my accessories though.

1. Look at them so happy together
2. They may not be warm, but boy are they stylish
3. That python satchel is just too cute to part... especially I have a pair of python sneakers just like that. But $498 is the price of a Ali (I could get a black Ali) I am currently using the brown lace hobo, but I think I probably want a larger bag.
4. I only wore that hat twice... 3 years ago. The messenger bag is well used, but now I want a white (or natural) Legacy Hippie.

*sigh* decisions decisions decisions... I feel like I am breaking up with my bags :crybaby:

Nice Collection. I think your two Mia Hobo's would sell really well on eBay. Oh, and the blue Mia wallet. I love the blue in that.

Robin,
Blue is my fav color! That's why it's really hard for me to even think about parting with them. *sigh* I think I am too in love to think straight. Now I found my new love which complicates everything... Gosh, I wish I was more purse monogamous.

LOL...one of the best lines ever.

Oh, and FWIW, I think I just bought that same blue wallet at the outlet near me, so if you decide to sell it, it may sell for less only because other outlets may be getting them too. I got the only one my outlet had, but you never know.

Your purple/pink/orange scarf is just TDF!! congrats on such a beautiful collection. I know how hard it is to part with members of your "purse family" even if you don't use them.. I would say keep the limited edition/really special, unique pieces and sell the other items that you don't use.

Take it bag at a time. Do not put them all up at once. Choose the one that you can part with first and see how you feel about it.

*breathing in deep* It's like taking baby steps, right? Or like dipping your toe in the freezing pool water before jumping in? The question is, which one to pick? Almost feel like cutting off my least favorite fingers (sorry, the mental image is just way too violent) I am leaning more toward the lace hobo in blue... because I am using the brown one now and love it.

Thanks, I am quite fond of that scarf myself. It's a little big, but it goes great with white button down shirts.

I was just watching the Oprah show tonight. One of her guests said something quite profound. She said "You need to let go of what you're holding on to in order to allow new things in your life". I am pretty sure the special guest was not talking about purse addictions/material obsessions, but it sure is very very true.

Wow, you got the wallet in your local outlet? God bless the invention of outlet stores! I actually paid good money for that wallet.

Wow, I am impressed! Is your husband's ultra sweet behavior hereditary or conditioned? I would trade ALL my purses for someone like that :supacool:
