Does anyone predict the Dior Gaucho will be the new "it" bag for 2006 (much like the fendi spy or chloe paddington for 2005)?

Next, will be any chanel cambon, the one with all the pockets on it! I dont; know the name..but I love it!

i saw this awesome leather prada bag today, i think that will be my next bag. it looks kinda like the gucci horsebit hobo, which i wanted to buy originally but the amount of fakes i see everyday just ruined it for me. it is really simple, just a plain no frills black leather bag. i love it!

Hello everyone...looks like I am the newest memeber here...I just stumbled across the sight today.

As for 2006 handbags....hum...that is a good one...I just got my first Balenciaga Med. Motocycle for Christmas so I feel that will take me into the new year. (however I am exchanging it for a different color) But I have been awaiting my Hermes Birkin Bag in Togo Black for a little over a year now..and it should be here in Jan/Feb..they say..so I hope that will be the first of 2006. However, I wonder if the novelty will be worn off by then...it seems like it has been forever and so many purses ago-I have been forcing myself NOT to buy a black purse because of it. I wanted it badly then...but am I over it now??? I guess it will be a staple. No?

On another note..does anyone have the Balenciaga in Ink or have you seen it in the Ink color..can you tell me what it really looks like?? thanks. Happy New Year.

Well, looks like the newest bag of the year for me is going to be the Dior Saddle with Asian Embroidery :D My SA called just a bit too late today to tell me that it FINALLY came in. I saw him at the mall but decided not to go in since I didn't see it displayed...but when I got home I got a message from him that it was there...arghhhh! I think I'm going to pick it up tomorrow and make it my new years bag :love:

People from fashionspot.com were talking about the new "ink." Some said it's like a very deep navy blue, almost black. Others said it's black with blue overtone and a slight purple shimmer in the sun.

Here are some photos I borrowed, courtesy of Surferchick2 from fashionspot. She also put her "ink" next to her black B-bag so you can tell the comparison.
