What/when was your last non-H bag purchase?

Well to tell the truth I was sorely tempted today (OMG!!!) by a gorgeous non-H croc clutch bag. And then I realized, hey, wait this is x percent of a Birkin, and suddenly I had no problem leaving it where it was.

The last non-H bag I can recall actually buying for myself, as opposed to fondling and lusting over, was...hmm. Maybe a Marc Jacobs bag about two years ago? If so, that bag has earned its keep, especially in the rain.

Last week in NYC...I bought a 2.77 black, gold chain Chanel bag. I was determined to wait until I have save enough for an exotic...but couldn't resist. I must admit, I do have buyer's remorse in a way that I feel like I should have not used up my purse savings until my next hermes purchase. Life is too short, more bags the merrier!

DH is so funny to shop with now for non H handbags. He just looks at the price and states "wow that is like almost free". The last almost free handbag he bought was the Louis Vuitton Ursula. He said to use it as my "throw down" handbag for rain, concerts, circus etc. That was is in spring at some point

Other than a couple gifts? Nada, no bags. Although I have been eyeing a little french to replace my "beater" bag... The dusty pink nylon Prada is just about on life support!

As much as I love H, there's a lot of places my H bags can't go. And for that, there's the beater bag.

In the last few weeks I got a longchamp to use to hold my H bags when traveling. I also got a patent leather Mulberry Bayswater for when it's raining. I'm not wild about the patent leather - what is a good nylon or whatever bag for the rain and circus?

A Jimmy Choo slashed leather bag .. it's a gorgeous bag .. a total impulse buy that wasn't too expensive .. but I think I've only used it like once since getting it .... and I can't help thinking everytime I look at the bag that the $$ spent could've gotten me that much closer to my next Hermes.

Longchamps to carry H too!
Before that, a year ago, a Nancy Gonzales croc clutch, before I got seriously re-bitten by the H bug. I don't have any H clutches yet so I am still using this one.
