Oh my! It looks like the patent was exposed to heat. It looks like it has melted in certain areas. It is just a thin plastic coating, so it can melt if in contact with a heat source.

This sadly cannot be repaired by anyone as it is extensive. Patent leather is more scratch resistant, but the plastic finish means that it cannot be repaired if it is cracked.

It’s very strange because no heat was ever exposed to the bag. I hadn’t even worn it yet!

I got this new Dior box bag yesterday but don’t know the name of it. It’s super cute and roomy enough. I feel like it’s going to be my new every day bag.




The lock is very different. It’s the center straight line between C and D. First I thought it’d required my attention with being very precise but no. It’s very easy to lock.
