The look of the bag generally. If it's not a relatively functional bag, I don't even look twice unless something about it catches my eye.

1. Anything fur or fur trimmed. Fur is ugly and beyound cruel!!!

Pony hair freaks me out because I keep thinking about the pony! I don't have that problem with leather, thankfully... but once there is hair... I can't help but think of the poor animal it came from. It also reminds me of the fur on my puppies too and as if someone made a handbag out of them.

Turn-offs - Did anyone mention pleather? The fake leather? I just don't get it at all, not to mention I find it absolutely gross, not to mention the weird smell.

Weird smells on leather - My Dior Gaucho Experience.

Poor stitching - there is nothing that can get me over poor workmanship period. I don't care who makes it.

Furry Bags - It makes it look like roadkill.

Handbags made to look like something else (e.g. food)- weird handbags thread comes to mind.
