What styles have been discontinued? What is the next one?

doubtful, maybe they might phase out certain moto styles but not the entire line...especially not the first or the city, they sell too many of them to make it a sensible decision.

the pochette still is.. don't think the RH flat clutch is still though. they just do very limited quantities!

The RH flat clutch was discontinued in 2004.

hmmm so these days it is more of the giant flap, giant flat and pochette? any idea about the giant traveller?

The pochette is still made, but very hard to find. I think the giant traveler still exists -- at least it did for spring '08 bags. They are incorporating the same features (the marked dividers, etc.) into some of the new non-moto bags, which I think look pretty nice. Other than that, it's just the Giant Envelope clutch and the Giant Handle now.

I don't think so, especially since the MOTO line seems to be an important money source for Balenciaga right now, even though their Ready To Wear is slowly becoming more sought after.

Personally, I'm hoping that MOTO bags will eventually become classics, so that I will never run outta BBags to oogle and buy!

Great comparition KDC!!! I hope they will be around forever as I´m hooked (for life!), and what would we all do when our loved bbags are totally worn out and non would be there to replace themhorrid thought!!!!

I reckon not...Moto bags are like a good drop of Coco Chanel or #5. They will be around for a long time yet!

I doubt it... because although their non moto line is doing well, I'd say that the motorcycle bags are what the company is really known for.
